Members of the Inspiro Creative Communications completed the British Heart Foundation’s – London to Brighton Charity Bike Ride.
The London to Brighton Bike Ride is the UK’s largest charity bike ride with 30,000 riders cycling the scenic route between London and Brighton on the south coast. This year the Bike Ride was on Sunday 20 June 2010.
Our ride was 60 miles. From: London (SW8 3TZ) To: East of Palace Pier, Brighton.
In Brighton, we woke at 4.30am, Showered dressed and headed down to the pier to get on the bus to London ready for our start time at 8.00.
The ride took under five hours, which was a good time taking into consideration the congestion from the mass of cyclists taking part.
The experience was unbelievable, hundreds of people along the way coming out to offer support in the forms of clapping, cheering, free drinks, biscuits, tea and coffee. But the best feeling was riding down to Brighton and the thousands of people clapping and cheering you to the finishing line.
The team have already raised over £600 for the British Heart Foundation so far… thanks you to those who have supported us!
We already talking about next years event.
With 30,000 cyclists, it was oftern busy…
